And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” (Mathew 1:21, NKJV)
Royalty
With all the news coverage today of the "royal" child's birt, I started thinkin.
If that piece of news is media-worthy, I wonder what type of coverage the King of Kings would've received 2000 years ago if facebook and twitter would have been available? Today, do you see the love of God-the real royal news worthy of a media circus? Let's take as much time to spread our piece of royal news today as fast as the news of the royal baby was spread.
Father, help us have the urgenc of spreading the Good News today as fast as the news of the baby was shared. Help us not be ashamed. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Excellent point, Jamie.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, Jamie. We have the best news of all and we have a job to do. Love you!
ReplyDeleteHi Jamie! I am visiting you from Nan's blog.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great point you make about the royal news. I never thought of comparing it to Jesus' birth, but it sure does make you think. You are absolutely right to say we should have the same urgency to spread the Good News.
Great to meet you!
Peace,
Ceil
Great post, Jamie...
ReplyDeleteAmen, Sister! Now lets get out there and start spreading the news. Blessings to you and yours, Jamie.
ReplyDeleteI loved this, Jamie. You really made a great connection here, and you made me think! Hugs to you, sweet girl.
ReplyDeleteJamie,
ReplyDeleteThis was well put. I feel sure that if Jesus were born today you would be posting about Him. In a way that is what all of us are doing, posting to social media about Jesus. Thanks for the reminder that we have an awesome purpose!
