Rest

Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth! (Psalm 46:10, NKJV)

You hear those 2 words, and what comes to your mind? You may think of telling your child to stay in a certain until told differently. But, let me paint another picture for you. To "be still" means to sit...to relax. It means to cease our striving. Ladies, that's what God wants from us. He wants us to stop, to cease striving and to sit with Him. He wants to speak to us, and if we're always on the move He's unable to do that. Today, are you willing to sit still...to sit quietly before the Lore and let Him speak?

Be Still and know that I am God. Be still and know that I Am. Be still and know that I Am. Be still and know that I. Be still and know that. Be still and know. Be still and. Be still. And finally, Be.


 Lord, we want to just "Be" in Your presence. Help us Lord to do that.

Be Still in My Presence

"Be still and know that I am God..." (Psalm 46:10, NKJV)

How many times do we go about our day, totally ignoring the fact that God is trying to speak to us? The Lord has been teaching me lately to just sit still in His presence. Here's what the Lord has spoken to me, and I think it will encourage you as well.

"my child, why do you insist on running by me so fast? How can I pour my spirit's words into you in this way? Sit in my presence and let me teach you something new. Lay all your burdens and cares at my feet. Do this, and you will find the rest and restoration you long for."

Ladies, are we willing to just sit quietly in His holy presence? I know it will change our lives!

Father, help us to be still before You. Help us to slow down enough to taste of Your glory. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Restlessness

When we're trying to get to sleep at night and can', we're restless. When we're waiting on something or someone, we're restless and ready to move on to the next task on our agenda. Do you ever find yourself with a restless spirit? Ladies, open your heart and receive what God has to say to you today.

"My child, be still and know that I am God. Let the clammer and the noise of your life cease. Put your complete focus on me. Put your hurt, your fear, your heavy burdens into my hands and let them go. Put your complete dependence and trust in Me and Me alone. Once you do that, you will find the rest you long for."

Father, teach us all what it means to rest in You. I pray for each reader Lord. I pray that she'll give every weight and hurt over to You so she can rest in You. In Jesus Nane, Amen.
